Language Course:

During the FREE language course (A1-B1 - approximately 2.5 months online and 1 month in-person):
Scholarship of €1,200 (€600 x 2) during the online course.
Free accommodation and meal allowance during the in-person month.
Flight to the Netherlands.
Airport pick-up.

Nursing Levels in the Netherlands:

In the Netherlands, there are 8 levels of nursing, which makes the correspondence with Portugal different. We will try to explain how your career will evolve:

Helpende (in the Netherlands corresponds to level 2): An assistant who takes care of a wide range of clients, including the elderly, disabled, addicts, or people with psychiatric problems. They can work in places like home care, daycare, hospitals, disability care, and elderly care. Some examples of tasks as a helper include:

Personal care: washing, brushing teeth, dressing, combing hair, etc.
Providing positive attention and emotional support when needed.
Assisting in recreational activities, such as walking, board games, or outings.
Monitoring the well-being and health of those being cared for.
Writing reports on the patient's condition and progress.
At this level, there is less independence in professional actions. It is possible to move from level 2 to level 3 by meeting the employer's requirements.

Verzorgende: You will work as a Nursing Assistant (level 3). You will not only provide basic care but also perform nursing activities such as:

Washing, drying, and dressing clients.
Providing and/or administering medications.
Caring for wounds.
Administering injections or inserting a catheter.
Emotional counseling for clients.
Supervising social and recreational activities.
Contributing to a positive living environment.
Writing reports on the client's development.
Communicating with family members and general practitioners, and in some cases, with a social worker, nurse, or physiotherapist.

Offer:

Working hours: 32-36 hours per week (flexible options available).
You will initially start as a Helpende (Level 2) - gross salary: €2,360 (based on 36 hours) ~ approximately €2,209 net. However, the goal is to work as a Verzorgende (Level 3) - €2,474 (based on 36 hours) ~ approximately €2,254 net, but this will depend on your progress, integration, and employer's evaluation.
Irregularity bonus (check the attached document for an explanation of the percentages related to this bonus).
Year-end bonus (1 extra salary!).
Travel allowance: €425 net/month.
Rent support: €175 net/month (if rent receipts are shared with the employer).
Pension plan.
Additional benefits: 8% annual holiday allowance, support for travel expenses, 30 days of vacation.

Accommodation Support:

The employer provides all necessary support in finding suitable accommodation, ensuring a smoother transition to the Netherlands.

Additional Support:

Even after you start working, you will receive support to improve your Dutch language skills. During the first year of the contract, all candidates will receive additional preparation to advance from B1 to B2 level, including:
35 seminars dedicated to Dutch language and culture.
Specialized online course from B1 to B2.
2 healthcare-related courses on our platform (one of them will be a First Aid course) – a total of 45 hours.
